How to Prepare for a Reiki Session
In preparation for a Reiki session, you can make the most of your healing time by wearing comfortable clothes, turning off notifications on your phone and other electronic devices. Most important, is giving yourself an hour and the space and time to rest, relax, allow healing.

Distance Reiki offers more flexibility with how you choose to prepare immediately before your session, at ease in your own space. Some people like to meditate or pray beforehand. You might want to turn off the lights and light a candle, burn some plant medicine. Turn on some relaxing music, or plan quiet time. A distance Reiki session means that you can settle down where you are most comfortable, with pillows and blankets---on a chair or couch, in bed, or on the floor. Immediately after the session, you can relax or sleep right where you are.
